Preston’s Miller Park fountain turned into giant bubble bath

Someone emptied dish soap and bubble bath into the fountain

Miller Park fountain was turned into a giant bubble bath on Sunday (18 September).

A passer-by who took these images in the city centre park said: “I fished five bottles of bubble bath out of the fountain, only to discover about 20 bottles left near the bin.”

The Council’s parks team were made aware of the issue

Preston City Council told Blog Preston they were aware of the situation.

A spokesperson said: “Unfortunately, someone has emptied dish soap and bubble bath into the fountain.

“The parks team are aware of the situation and are dealing with the issue.

“The fountain will be back to normal as soon as possible.”
