Bamber Bridge man arrested in connection with burglary and assault

Preston Police have arrested a Bamber Bridge man in connection with offences of aggravated burglary and assault causing actual bodily harm.

Earlier this month the police launched an appeal to find Wesley Killeen, of Aspden Street, Bamber Bridge, after he is said to have entered an address inĀ Preston, threatening the homeowner with a knife before stealing their phone on Saturday 27 August.

The 20-year-old was remanded to appear before Preston Magistrates Court on Monday 19 September after being arrested during Saturday.

A spokesperson for Preston Police said: “Thanks to everyone who shared and helped with the appeal.”
