Preston Grasshoppers’ rugby director Gareth Dyer has informed the club he is to step away from his role due to personal reasons.
The club thanked Gareth for his ‘huge contribution’ to the club during his two spells.
They included (2009/10 to 2014/15 and from 2017/18 to 2021/22) as Director of Rugby with PGRFC, which he undertook in a volunteer capacity.

Under his tenure, the club secured two promotions, including one Northern Premier League Trophy, two Lancashire Cup wins, the Lancashire 7s and several top-half National Two finishes.
The 1st XV set several club playing records during his time in charge, and the 2nd XV also secured three leagues and two cup titles over that period.
