M6 near Preston reopens after crash involving vehicle transporting sheep

The M6 near Preston has reopened after a crash involving a vehicle transporting sheep.

The incident happened this afternoon (Wednesday 10 August).

Traffic was stopped in both directions between J32 (M55) and J33 (Lancaster) while the sheep were transferred to another vehicle.

National Highways reported delays of up to an hour before the motorway was reopened.
