Walton Summit road closures due to chemical leak

Three fire engines from Leyland and Preston were called today (18 July) at 10:57am to attend an incident involving a chemical lead on Brierley Road, Walton Summit Industrial Estate, Bamber Bridge.

Firefighters and local authorities are working together to make the scene safe.

Road closures and a 50m safety cordon are in place. No injuries have been reported. Crews currently remain in attendance.
