Preston firefighters rescue ducklings trapped in Blackpool Road storm drain

Firefighters have rescued four ducklings from a storm drain in Blackpool Road.

The incident happened at around midday on Friday (8 July).

Two fire engines from Preston and Penwortham attended the scene.

Firefighters rescued the ducklings using hose inflation kit, nimbus nozzle and chimney roads.

Crews were in attendance for two hours and thirty minutes.
