Police seize cash, cannabis and a machete in Plungington

Preston Police have been patrolling the Plungington area as part of Anti-Social Behaviour week.

On Thursday night officers saw a man get out of a car and try to get away from police.

Officers caught up with the man who was found to have a large sum of cash and cannabis. Further searches revealed more cash and a large machete.

Preston Police said: “We will continue to target those who think it is acceptable to be involved in criminality. We can’t do this without the information from our communities.”
