Police seek to find dog’s owner after Leyland police station hand-in

A dog has handed himself in at Leyland Police Station this morning and is presumed to be missing from a family in the local area.

The dog isn’t neutered and had no collar, so police are seeking his owner.

Preston Police said: “This handsome chap has handed himself into Leyland Police Station this morning. We’ve checked and he’s definitely not wanted here, so can only assume he’s missing locally!

“As spritely as he is and great for team morale, we would love to reunite him with his family. He can even keep the football he’s found in the nick.”
