The Queen’s Baton travelled through Preston today (Saturday 16 July).
AdvertisementThe Commonwealth Baton left Miller Park before travelling through the city centre to the Flag Market where it was greeted by Preston’s Mayor, Councillor Neil Darby.
The Flag Market hosted a Preston North End Football Club penalty shootout, weightlifting with KAOS Gym, giant Jenga and Connect Four games, local boxing and martial arts club demonstrations and a dance performance from the Caribbean Carnival.
