Gujarat Hindu Society gives Rosemere Cancer Foundation £5,000 donation

Rosemere Cancer Foundation was presented with a cheque for £5,435 from Preston’s Gujarat Hindu Society on South Meadow Lane.
The society raised the money throughout June and the cheque was presented to the charity’s chairman Peter Mileham OBE and chief officer Dan Hill.

It is the second donation from the society that also gave a donation in 2018.
The society’s president, Mr Ishwer Tailor MBE, praised members for their generosity and support, adding: “Cancer has no barriers and can affect anyone in the community.”
