Fire service tackles derelict building fire on Sidegreaves Lane

Fire crews and three fire engines last night attended a blaze in a building on Sidegreaves Lane.

At 8.36pm on 12 July 2022, Lancashire Fire and Rescue engines from Preston and Wesham attended a derelict building fire on Sidegreaves Lane, Lea.

Firefighters used one hose reel, a triple extension ladder and a thermal imaging camera to extinguish the fire.

The crews were in attendance for three hours.
