Strike action will affect a number of rail companies during the week, with strikes taking place on Tuesday 21, Thursday 23 and Saturday 25 June.

Customers who choose not to travel during the week will be able to apply for a full refund.

Northern Rail
There will be limited availability of both train crew and signalling staff on strike days and services will not be able to operate on most routes.
Customers are advised not to travel on any day from Tuesday 21st through to Sunday 26th June.

Avanti
Avanti plans to run one train per hour from Euston to Manchester, Liverpool, Birmingham and Preston, with a limited service onwards to Glasgow.
Trains will run with limited hours with the first train of the day departing Euston just before 8am and the last train of the day from Euston departing mid-afternoon.
There will be disruption on non-strike days, particularly in the mornings as trains will begin later.
Trains will not be calling at Stockport, Macclesfield, Stoke-on-Trent or Runcorn, so these stations will be closed on strike days.

Transpennine Express
There will be significant disruption on strike days to the service and a number of stations will be closed.
Passengers are advised to only travel if journeys are essential and to seek alternative means of transport if possible.
