St Vincents Road in Fulwood has been temporarily shut down to facilitate the installation of gas, water and electricity supplies.

Lancashire County Council will be completing the roadworks by the end of this week.

A spokesperson for Lancashire County Council said: “These private works were planned to take place during the school holidays to minimise disruption, as there are several education facilities close-by.

“The works are scheduled for completion by Sunday, 5 June, when the road closure is expected to be lifted in time for the return to school.”
