Preston City Council has issued a reminder about the upcoming closure of the A59 at Brockholes Brow.
AdvertisementThe works begin in just under four weeks, on Monday 25 July.
The road will be closed in both directions as essential action is taken to prevent a large-scale landslide.
The works will take up to seven weeks, but the footpath will remain open throughout.

A lane has been closed on the road since March 2021 when a small landslip occurred on a steep wooded embankment next to the road, resulting in part of the slope encroaching on to the road.
