Penwortham friends and neighbours Norma Blackburn and Margaret Dunn are a ‘driving’ force when it comes to helping charity Rosemere Cancer Foundation.

Norma said: “This was our second drive sale. We held our first one, which had to be socially distanced, last year and the year before, we had a drive summer fete because of Covid. The feedback from visitors to the first two events was so positive, we decided to stay on the drive!
“People like being outside providing the weather is fine so we might have found a new fundraising formula.”
