Penwortham crash sees car plough into wall

A Penwortham road accident last night saw a car mount a kerb and smash into a wall.

On Wednesday, 8 June, around 7.15pm, a black Audi mounted a kerb on New Lane in Penwortham and crashed into the wall of a residential garden.

Three people were seen gathered around the vehicle inspecting the damage.

A local resident said accidents in this area are a ‘regular occurrence’.

It did not appear that anybody was hurt in the incident.
