Detectives investigating the death of Lee Dawson in Deepdale have this evening (Thursday 23 June) charged another man with his murder.
This brings to a total four people who have been charged with the murder of the 42-year-old, and one person who has been charged with assisting an offender.
Six others have been arrested in connection with the investigation and bailed pending further enquiries.
The latest to be charged is Robert Cross, 33, of Milner Street. He is due to appear before Preston Magistratesâ Court tomorrow morning (Friday 24 June).
The others charged with Mr Dawsonâs murder are Stuart Brown, 36, of Dawson Walk, who is due to appear at Preston Crown Court tomorrow, Andrew Wilcock, 29, of Lincoln Walk and Benjamin Bibby, 20, of Dawson Walk, who both appeared at Preston Crown Court earlier today.
Kerry-Ann Metcalfe, 38, of Dawson Walk, is charged with assisting an offender. She appeared at Preston Magistratesâ Court this morning and has been remanded until July.

Mr Dawson died as a result of stab wounds after being found in Jutland Street in the early hours of Friday 17 June.
Det Chief Insp Mark Haworth-Oates, of Lancashire Policeâs Force Major Investigation Team, said: âWe have now charged a total of four people with Mr Dawsonâs murder, a further person with assisting an offender and we have arrested and bailed a number of others.
“I am grateful for all the assistance we have received during the course of our enquiries this week and I would continue to appeal to anyone with information to get in touch.
âMy thoughts of course remain with all of Mr Dawsonâs loved ones at this time.â
