A chest consultant from the Royal Preston Hospital will host an Eid dinner to raise money for the Rosemere Cancer Foundation.
AdvertisementProfessor Mohammed Munavvar has worked at the hospital for almost 23 years and will speak about the support from the charity that has allowed Lancashire to have the latest in lung cancer diagnostic technology before anywhere else in the country and even globally.

The dinner at the Imperial Banqueting Suite in St Mary’s Street, Deepdale, will take place on Monday 18th July with doors opening at 6pm.
There will be a selection of stalls for visitors to browse and a three course meal at 7pm.
Professor Munavvar said: “Over the last two decades, thousands of local patients with lung cancer and other respiratory diseases have benefitted from the hundreds of thousands of pounds I have received from Rosemere Cancer Foundation to bring the latest in diagnostic technology to Preston.
“There is a new navigational bronchoscopy tool coming out that I am hoping to acquire that I will briefly introduce in my presentation.”
Tickets for the dinner, which is scheduled to finish at 10 pm, cost £30 for adults and £20 for U12s and can be reserved here.
