A new event is bringing the 90s rave experience to Preston.

Elation is organised by three DJs from Preston and Wigan, Howard B, Steven Jay and Dan E-R.

Three events have taken place so far, with the fourth instalment set for Saturday 28 May at Riva Showbar in the city centre.

Howard said: “It’s been a great success so far.

“We wanted to create the atmosphere from the late 1990s to 2000 and beyond that was around in the clubs found in the North West like Wigan Pier Maximes, Cricketer and Monroes.

“The name Elation came from us wanting to bring a ‘hands in the air’ experience; an event where people can come to dance and enjoy themselves.

“We have stage dancers and full laser show on the night to make the Rave experience complete. We’ve brought some big names in the scene to Preston and will continue do so.”

The next event will see appearances from Ultrabeat, Ian Redman and Mc Cover, along with Andy Pendle and John G plus residents.
