Preston City Council is set to take action to improve what it describes as ‘difficult’ and ‘inconvenient’ bus services.
A Notice of Motion on the topic was submitted by Councillor Jonathan Saksena in April.
The Council noted several issues:

The Council has resolved to refer the matter to the Overview and Scrutiny Committee with a view to interviewing the relevant bus operators.
The Council also vowed to ask Lancashire County Council‘s Public Transport Team to take action to alleviate the problems, and make sure Preston MP Sir Mark Hendrick is aware of the situation.
