CancerHelp Preston is fundraising with an art exhibition launch.
AdvertisementMembers of the charity’s art group will be exhibiting their work at The Larder in Preston City Centre this summer.
CancerHelp, which has homes in Ribbleton and Garstang, supports cancer patients, their families and carers through the impact of diagnosis and the effects of the disease and its treatment.
The charity uses art and craft therapy to encourage patients to express themselves creatively and spiritually in order to come to terms with their condition.
The exhibition launch is taking place on Saturday 21 May from 5.30pm to 7.30pm.
There will be a drinks reception, canapés and music.

“The Larder will be serving canapés including mushroom, wild garlic and English ricotta frittata and mini smoked salmon crumpets with cream cheese and chive.
“King Of Aces Magic will be entertaining as people browse and chat, and the evening will be accompanied by music from Martyn Rawlinson and the Preston Ukulele Strummers Society.”
Tickets are priced at £22.15, with £8 from each sale going to support people in Lancashire dealing with cancer.
