Avenham Park is set to host the country’s biggest Big Lunch this Jubilee weekend.
AdvertisementThe Big Lunch is an Eden Project initiative, which encourages communities and streets to get out and eat together.
Organiser Jacky Calvert said: “We began the Preston Big Lunch in 2015 and it’s grown to be the biggest in the UK – so much so that I went to see Camilla, Duchess of Cornwall, a few weeks ago to tell her what we’re up to, as she’s patron of the Eden Project.
“This year’s event falls on the Jubilee weekend, so what better timing.”
