Families will be able to enjoy a documentary film premiere, red carpet experience, jubilee choir performance, mosaic murals exhibition, royal photo booth, samba drumming workshops, creative writing workshops, craft making, queen’s jewels treasure hunt, nature trails, dobcroft nature reserve tours, face painting and much more!
After receiving funding from Arts Council England, Intact is partnering with Derelict Art of The City to bring Ingol, Tanterton and the wider Preston community together for a celebratory event marking this special occasion.
Derelict is a Preston based arts organisation with experience hosting events and festivals and generating new audiences for international, national and regional theatre in the North-West.
Working alongside Derelict, local artists and community groups, Intact’s Jubilee Arts & Food Festival promises to provide an exciting opportunity for everyone to engage in something special.
Intact staff member, Rob, says “Our aim is to give Ingol & Tanterton residents something exciting to do on their doorstep at the Jubilee Celebrations. Many of our service users and local residents may struggle to access events in the city centre, this is designed to bring the party directly to them.
“Importantly, this is open to all, so we welcome you to come along and check out our wonderful community centre, engage in arts activities and grab yourself some free food. You will be met with a Right Royal Welcome!”
