A 73-year-old Prestonian has published his third book since the start of the Covid-19 pandemic.
Peter Nicklin wrote his first two books during the 18-months of lockdown. The first was called ‘This Boy’, which was set mainly in and around Preston about a teenage chef in the swinging sixties.
The second book was called ‘This Girl’ which picked up where the first book finished and followed a fun-loving twentysomething, in the seventies.
Peter’s third book, Bob and Sofia: Bob’s chaotic travel adventures with Sofia, follows the pair as they travel solo on a cruise ship.
Peter has been writing the book in his head for a number of years after inspiration from the cruises and adventures he has taken, with many of the characters based on the friends he has made on his trips.
