Preston Opera will be putting on its first performance since June 2019.

The company will be performing Bizet’s Carmen at Fulwood Academy from Thursday 2nd June until Saturday 4th June.

The performance will be accompanied by the Preston Opera Orchestra and conducted by Helen Harrison.

Carmen is a powerful story about love, jealousy and ultimately tragedy, with some very well known tunes that virtually everyone knows. 

Many of the cast are from Preston, or from nearby towns. Cast members include Imogen Garner as Carmen, Georgina Murray as Micaela, Helen Latham as Frasquita and Isobel Jenkins as Mercedes.
