Preston church collecting donations for Ukrainian refugees

A church in the centre of Preston is collecting donations for Ukrainian refugees on behalf of the International Aid Trust.

St George the Martyr Church, on George’s Road will be open every day except Mondays from 10am to 4pm, until early May to accept donations.

Donations welcome include food, with at least one year’s best before date, including pasta, rice, tinned meat, packet soups and cooking oil.

Donations of medical supplies including bandages, first aid kits, heat packs, masks and toiletries are also welcome.
