They are hoping to become one of the HSBC Golf Roots, Golf Foundation – Junior Centres of Excellence and will continue to work closely with England Golf to welcome all ages and abilities to the sport.
The academy will also introduce the new members to the social side of golf and the wider golf community at Penwortham.
There will be two new academy memberships, one for beginners for £70 and one for intermediate golfers, or those returning to the sport at £402.
The introduction of this facility will benefit all members, as it continues to function as a practice area, but it can also be used for group lessons, juniors, and fun competitions, as well as helping new golfers track their progress as they improve.
Knowing how fantastic golf is, not only with its physical benefits but also social and mental health benefits, the club are keen to introduce new people to the sport.
