Man in 60s taken to hospital after reports of Church Street assault

Police were called on Saturday (April 16) to a report of an assault in Church Street, Preston city centre.

A man aged in his 60s had suffered a head injury and was taken to hospital for treatment.

There was a large emergency services presence outside the Bull & Royal.
