A group of Instagrammers explored the secrets of the Masonic Hall in the latest Instameet Preston.
AdvertisementThe free event took place on Wednesday (30 March) and saw Masons from the Preston Guild Lodge answer questions from intrigued attendees.
The building’s history and tradition made for an interesting subject as people snapped away and shared images using #InstameetPreston.
One attendee, David, aka @scrappynw, said: “It was great to see the inside of another Preston building on one of the Instagram meets organised by Blog Preston.
“Only ever seeing the outside of the Masonic Hall before, I never expected it to be as interesting meet as it was. It was great to hear about the history of the Freemasons and see some of their collection of ritual artefacts.
“The people who showed us around were very informative and debunked some of the myths about the Masons. Altogether it was a great meet up and good to see some new faces.”
