Firefighters attend garage fire off London Road

Two fire engines from Preston attended an outbuilding fire off London Road, Preston at 5.22pm on Tuesday 5th April.

Together with an aerial ladder appliance (ALP) from Preston, the teams tackled the fire which involved a garage at the rear of a domestic property that was well alight when crews arrived in Ashleigh Street.

Firefighters used two breathing apparatus, two hose reels, small tools, and a short extension ladder to extinguish the fire.

Crews remained in attendance for two hours.
