Fire crews battle Ribbleton flat blaze

Fire crews battled a flat blaze in Ribbleton yesterday (Friday 1 April).

The incident happened at around 7pm in a first floor flat in Tennyson Mill Court.

Two fire engines and an aerial ladder platform from Preston attended the scene.

The fire was extinguished using four breathing apparatus, one hose reel jet and one positive pressure ventilation unit.

Crews from Lancashire Fire and Rescue Service were in attendance for around two hours.
