This year’s Music In The Park event is approaching and the final lineup has been confirmed.
AdvertisementThe event will take place on Friday 3 June 2022 in the fantastic setting of Worden Park, Leyland, starting at 3pm with gates opening from 1pm.
The last admission will be at 5pm allowing for a fantastic afternoon and evening of 80s music.

Tune in to the 80s for a great lineup from chart-toppers Tony Hadley, Heaven 17, T’pau, Go West and a DJ set from 80s icon Pat Sharp.
Two great, late additions to the lineup are Doctor and the Medics and Mick Brown who will host the event making the whole show even more 80s-tastic.
Eighties superstar Tony Hadley (ex-Spandau Ballet) has been performing for over 40 years and regularly tours with his band and as a solo artist.
He started out as the frontman for the New Romantic band Spandau Ballet in the 80s with their classic big hits Gold, True and Through The Barricades.
Heaven 17 hits from the early 80s include Temptation and Come Live With Me from their albums Penthouse and Pavement and The Luxury Gap.
Go West top 10 hits include King of Wishful Thinking, We Close Our Eyes and Goodbye Girl. The band are stronger than ever and have a 35-date tour planned for 2022 including Music In The Park.

T’Pau featuring Carol Decker are sure to include the classic ballad No. 1 Chart hit China In Your Hand and Heart and Soul in their set at the event in Worden Park.
Doctor and the Medics were chart-toppers with their version of Spirit in the Sky which became an 80s classic.
Councillor Paul Foster, Leader of South Ribble Borough Council Leader said: “Music In The Park will be a fantastic event in June as part of South Ribble’s Jubilee celebrations.
“It is fantastic that we can finally bring this event to life. We are absolutely delighted to be able to bring such a quality event with an excellent lineup of acts to Leyland in 2022 for everyone to enjoy as we get back to enjoying live music.”
Tickets are great value, priced from £35 for standard entry and £55 for premium entry that gives access to a premium bar and upgraded toilets.
