A football group that provides kickabout sessions for dads are looking for Ukrainian dads in and around Preston to take part for free.
AdvertisementTeamkickabout CIC was founded as a community interest company in 2020 they now have 10 locations around Lancashire and play locally at Blackburn Rovers Indoor Centre on Wednesday evenings from 8pm.
The sessions are specifically designed for dads of all skill and fitness levels to come along and play together in non-competetive sessions.

Darwen born dad of one and co-founder and community director Graham Sims said: “We started this so we can connect dads, grandads and male guardians in an environment where they can have fun and burn a few calories whilst making new friends.”
Since things broke out in Ukraine the director of Teamkickabout wanted to help.
Peter Brooks co-founder and managing director decided to drive to Poland where he could deliver items donated by friends, family and members of the Teamkickabout community.

Peter said: “The truth is, it’s an awful situation that none of us can fully comprehend. I feel that if you are in a position to be able to help, even the smallest bit, you do. If you can, you give – it should be as simple as that.
“We have a great group of dads here, many of whom want to help and to be part of something positive.”
