Toys with a collective price tag of over £300 have been gifted to Lancashire Teaching Hospital Charity’s Children’s Appeal by the Morrisons Preston Riversway store.
The toys have already been handed out for young patients on the children’s ward at the Royal Preston Hospital by Karen Seed from the hospital’s play team.

Children’s Appeal fundraiser Lucy Clark said: “We’d like to thank staff at Morrisons Preston Riversway for their generosity and support.
“The toys are already making a real difference to our young patients as they are putting smiles on faces and bringing joy and in doing that, they are helping to improve their experience of hospital, which is what our appeal is all about.”
The appeal, which launched last May, has a £1 million target to buy a range of equipment to make the children’s in and out-patients at both Royal Preston and Chorley District General Hospitals, as well as other local centres managed by Lancashire Teaching Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust, better and more comfortable for young patients and their parents and carers.
