A local architect firm has hired an assistant with skills in the commercial, hospitality and residential sectors.
Preston architectural, planning and building surveying practice Cassidy + Ashton has strengthened its architecture and design team with the appointment of David Rivers as an architectural assistant.
David joins the practice from C4 Projects in Warrington and is based at Cassidy + Ashtonâs Preston office, supporting the architecture and design team and working on residential and commercial design projects.

Alistair Baines, chairman of Cassidy + Ashton, said: âDavid is a strong architecture and design professional, and we are delighted to welcome him to our team.

David has experience spanning a range of projects, including new build warehouses, hospitality venues and restaurants, and residential and mixed-use accommodation.

David has developed a niche working on luxury residential dwellings – most recently on a luxury residential complex in Cheshire.
With an honours degree in interior architecture and a Master’s in architecture, David aspires to become a chartered architect and has a keen awareness of sustainable design.
