Person rescued from vehicle and taken to hospital after Fulwood crash

A person has been rescued from a vehicle and taken to hospital after a crash in Fulwood.

The incident happened near The Black Bull in Garstang Road in the early hours of this morning (Sunday 6 March).

Fire engines from Fulwood and Preston attended the crash involving two vehicles.

Firefighters used stabilisation and road traffic collision equipment to free the casualty, who was then taken to hospital by paramedics.

Crews were in attendance for 25 minutes.
