Two fire engines from Bamber Bridge and Preston attended a road traffic collision involving two vehicles on Station Road in Bamber Bridge.

Firefighters used Holmatro equipment and a longboard to safely remove one casualty from their vehicle, before they were conveyed to hospital by North West Ambulance Service.

Crews were in attendance for around an hour and a half.

An oil spillage following a road traffic collision led to a road closure at Bamber Bridge.

From Station Road, Bamber Bridge between the junction of the A6 and Church Road/Havelock Road.

Motorists were advised to avoid the area.
