A new city centre dessert restaurant will create 17 roles for local jobseekers when it opens this April.
Roccos-Preston is opening on Friargate at the end of April and will serve fresh waffles, coffee, artisan cakes, soft cookie dough, milkshakes, smoothies, and mocktails.
The team are searching for a restaurant manager, team leader and up to 15 part-time team members, with recent school leavers encouraged to apply – even if they do not have a CV.

Imran said: “We urge any school leaver looking for their first job to get in touch, even if you do not have a CV – send a simple email briefly telling us about yourself and why you want the job.
“We are hoping to generate youth employment and allow the future generation to pick up some great skills for life.
“Our mission will be to create an environment where enjoying authentic desserts with family, friends and loved ones is a magical experience that doesn’t cost the world.
“We strive to continuously provide our guests with irresistible treats and unrivalled customer service.”

Imran said anyone passionate about sweet things is likely to be drawn to the menu.
The team said they hope to create a fun atmosphere and distinctive quality that meets the art of having fun, made with care at the highest level.
Imran said: “Our teams have the passion for perfection and a belief that our desserts have the power to bring joy to people.
“It’s about enjoying life, having fun with food and cherishing that moment in time.”
