Tomorrow, Saturday 12 March, Jodie Marie Rigby an entrepreneur from Preston is hosting an International Women’s Month event in the city, sharing success stories from women from the North.
AdvertisementThe event is held at the new healthy eating restaurant Saladishy on Fishergate.
The event will consist of welcome drinks by Calyx drinks and My Dry Ice, along with a two-course dinner.
Joining the dinner will be Jemmala, a 26-year-old artist and designer from Preston who has worked for the likes of Steven Bartlett at Social Chain, and Maison Margiela. She also quit one of the biggest fast fashion companies in the UK to set off on her own music journey.
Jemmala is now launching her own EP and is performing her new song Freakin at the event.
She will speak and share her journey to the female entrepreneurs joining the event.
Jodie is organising a series of events in March in Manchester and Liverpool to support female entrepreneurs and people interested in the NFT and cryptocurrency space.
She is in talks with multiple ex Apprentice candidates who are interested to support the events in March.
Jodie has previously held events with friends Zaralena Jackson from MTV’s Ex on the Beach, and Elias Ahonen author of Blockland and contributor to Cointelegraph.
She said: “International Women’s Day is a day to highlight females and their success stories and inspire others to continue to pursue their dreams.”
