A series of documents from Preston in the 19th and early 20th century are available to buy on eBay.

The historic documents relate to Preston Law Library and the firm of solicitors Buck Dickson.

The Law Library documents consist of two notebooks detailing membership, subscriptions, expenses, salaries, book purchases, bookbinding costs and more.

The books relate to the period 1837-1853 and provide a glimpse into the life of a 19th century solicitor.

A large number of lots are also available relating to the Preston solicitors Buck Dickson, who originally held the notebooks.

Other documents relate to local families and contain interesting stories that could assist current generations doing family history and genealogy research.
