Fire service attend chemical fire at Preston Docks

At 4.06pm on Monday 28 February, four fire engines attended a commercial building fire on Chain Caul Way, Ashton-on-Ribble.

When crews arrived from Preston, Fulwood, and Penwortham, they found the incident involved chemicals that were well alight.

Firefighters used one hose reel, one jet, and approximately 20 litres of foam to extinguish the fire.

No injuries were reported and crews were in attendance for approximately one and a quarter hours.
