South Ribble Police are appealing for information following a hit and run in Leyland.
AdvertisementThe incident happened at the junction of Slater Lane and Leyland Lane at 12.54pm on Saturday (5 March).
A white panel van was seen to overtake cars on Leyland Lane where it then hit an electric pedal bike leaving two males with injuries including a broken hand and a fractured ankle.
The van then went on to collide with a Mercedes on Slater Lane.
Two males have been arrested in connection with the incident and remain in custody.

Detective Constable 3166 Ben Smith of Chorley CID said: “This is a very serious incident which could have had life changing consequences. The two men who were hit are very lucky that the injuries have not been more severe.”
