Blues And Twos, a credit union based at Lancashire Constabulary’s Hutton headquarters, has donated £500 to charity Rosemere Cancer Foundation following a decision taken by members at the Annual General Meeting.
The Blues And Twos, which was founded 30 years ago to serve Lancashire Police employees now supports employees of the Police, Fire and Ambulance Services, NHS, schools, universities and more across the North West.

Chief Executive Officer Vicky Harrison said: “Some of our 9,000 plus membership work at or closely with Rosemere Cancer Centre in Preston while others have been treated there. We are an organisation that likes to support local good causes.”
Vicky Harrison and her colleague and new Business Manager Anna Watson presented the donation to Rosemere Cancer Foundation’s chief officer Dan Hill.
Rosemere Cancer Foundation works to bring world class cancer treatments and services to cancer patients from throughout Lancashire and South Cumbria being treated at Rosemere Cancer Centre, which is the region’s specialist cancer treatment and radiotherapy centre at the Royal Preston Hospital, and also at another eight local hospital cancer units across the two counties.
