A Preston Scout group are holding an open evening this week to recruit young people and adults.

The Preston Central Scout Group open evening will be held on Thursday 3 February from 6.30 to 7.30pm at The Salvation Army on Harrington Street, Preston, PR1 7BN.

Preston Central provides opportunities for local people between the ages of 6-14 years.

Those who join will benefit from the challenges and adventures that Scouts provides, with opportunities to explore the outdoors and make new friends.

The Scouts reminded parents that they must stay at the open evening.
