Longridge florist makes wreaths for Ukraine

A florist is showing their solidarity in Ukraine by creating door wreaths in Ukrainian colours for front doors.

The Bloom Room, based in Longridge, has been creating the wreaths to raise money to support the British Red Cross Ukraine Crisis Appeal.

Support from the public has been overwhelming, with the florist wiping out their wholesalers to meet the demand for them.

The wreaths are made of fresh flowers and cost £40, with all proceeds going to the appeal.
