Bingo club coordinator Marlene Norris said: “A number of members have had treatment or, like me, know people who have received treatment at Rosemere Cancer Centre.
“My sister-in-law Maureen Woods, who lives in Hoole, received fantastic care, which is why we decided to donate to Rosemere Cancer Foundation.”
In addition, members also gave £1,000 each to Derian House Children’s Hospice and North West Air Ambulance.
