A performing arts theatre in Preston is going to host a charity event, which will see the great, great grandson of Charles Dickens performing his one man show.
AdvertisementOn Sunday 20 March, storyteller Gerald Dickens will perform The Signalman – a spine-chilling and haunting ghost story set in a railway disaster at Preston Playhouse from 2pm to 7pm.
This will be the actor’s third time coming to the city having played and sold out at the Preston Playhouse twice before.
Tickets will be £16 per person and all proceeds will go to Partners in Education Swaziland (PIES), a small charity run by volunteers based in and around Preston supporting vulnerable children.
