Temporary multi-way signals on Woodplumpton Road have today caused delays on Tag Lane and Cadley Causeway.
AdvertisementLancashire County Council installed the signals on Monday 14 February, and they will be in place until Sunday 20 February to allow the council to undertake cable works.
The council is creating a joint bay on Thornton Avenue and a trench in the footway, ducted to Woodplumpton Road, with a road crossing into the footpath.

They are also excavating and laying cable within the footpath to the former Cosgrove Coaches site.
There will be a four-metre reinstatement across the carriageway – which will be plained and tarmacked and have three-way lights.
United Utilities is also undertaking rolling utility repair and maintenance works, with jetting and CCTV taking place on behalf of the firm.

The work, underway outside number 35 to Woodbury House, began today (Wednesday 16 February) and will be in place until tomorrow (Thursday 17 February).
