South Ribble Police detained two youths yesterday for throwing rocks at a Leyland police station.
In a tweet on Monday 17 January, the police posted a photo of three rocks on top of the station.
They issued a lighthearted warning to other would-be offenders.

South Ribble Police said: “The National Neighbourhood Policing Week started off with a bang at Leyland.
“If you are going to throw rocks, it’s probably best that you don’t throw them at a police station.
“Two youths were detained by the Neighbourhood Team.”

Starting Monday 17 January, the Neighbourhood Policing Week of Action celebrates the work of neighbourhood policing teams, including community engagement, problem-solving and activity targeting.
