Ali Shahriar from Fulwood has taken up filming his walks around Preston to share the joy a simple walk can give.

Before Christmas Ali headed out into Preston for a walk with his camera and filmed the route.

He has already covered Preston town centre and Moore Park and with an interest in exploring different places, Ali plans to cover Avenham Park, Preston market, local cafe’s and pubs.

Eventually, he hopes to cover the whole of Lancashire and work with local artists to improve his skills and create more content.

Ali moved to the area three years ago from London to study Aerospace Engineering at UCLan and after struggling with his mental health, he hopes the walks will inspire others to find some comfort in walks in the local area.
